| The pay-to-play politics in Illinois needs to stop. Corporations should not be allowed to make campaign contributions, since they cannot even vote. I also support contribution limits from PACs and individuals.
Corporations and individuals that make campaign contributions should not be granted contracts or employment. This state cannot afford to be sold to the highest bidder. |

| I support replacing our plurality electoral system to make elections more fair and representative of the will of the people.
I support Instant Runoff Voting, which allows voters to rank their candidates. I also support Proportional Representation, which would allow several representatives from a single district to provide a more accurate representation of the public's views. You can find information about alternatives to plurality voting at www.fairvote.org |

| There have been serious concerns about the integrity of our ballots in recent elections. I support requiring a paper trail for all electronic voting machines and open source election machines. | ||||||||||||||||||

| The views of millions of voters Illinois and America are not split into two neat categories. We need several parties to accurately represent these voters. However, it is very difficult for third party or independent candidates to get on the ballot in Illinois. For example, I needed to collected 2,260 while the candidates for the established parties only needed 500. Nearly five times as many! Since third party candidates are often challenged by established parties, they actually need collect twice the required amount of signatures. I support lowering the petition requirements for third party and independent candidates to that of the established parties. | ||||||||||||||||||
